Today I only watched around an hour (but took enough pictures for 3) and totally missed the ending SOB.

For those who don't know what this event is, from what I understood is a cosplay event broadcasted live on nicovideo where cosplayers get the chance to get on stage through a raffle (they each take a number and hope to be chosen), surrounded by big LED monitors that show different backgrounds and effects and live comments from nicovideo, only the Japanese comments. The English comments didn't show. It seems the entrance is free for this event.
The annoucers today were Danii (cosplaying as Hoozuki from Hoozuki no Reitetsu, later Spiderman) and Kami (Yuna from Final Fantasy).

I watched this live stream, Niconico Cospl​lection Live a​t Nicofarre -D​ay 1- that was streamed on the 8th of March of 2014. Meaning today. Or yesterday. Depends on where you are living. And in around 4 hours will start the broadcast from the second day.

Once I start watching something I kind of can't just stop and I want to finish it, so I can't really tell if it was awesome or not. I don't know how you use nicovideo and there probably wasn't something I could do about it, but I only saw the English comments on the video screen. There were people chatting and leaving their impression, but not that many. I can't tell you the opinion of the Japanese public, but the English-speaking watchers didn't seem that impressed about the show. They sometimes pointed out some gaps in the planning of the event and its management, and weren't impressed because the participating people seemed not to be many. But it's true...it wasn't as big of a festival as you'd imagine or as they made it be, because there seemed to be few people and on the stream it sometimes looked like a local cosplay convention.

I won't talk much about it because I can't really comment, I can assure you I only remembered the three announcers's names and none others and I don't know anything about the respective cosplayers. There were people who seemed to be known/ popular but I don't know them. I'm not up to date to the cosplay community and its personalities hehe.

I'll just post the pics I took of the screen and maybe add a short comment on some of them, + maybe I'll write which caras I can recognise in case someone wants to know.

And you need to know I started watching the streaming when around 1 hour had already passed (I think? or was it less?) and I didn't even stay there and took pics of the show. I tried to take pics of the whole group that went on stage to have at least a pic of them all and some cosplayers individually (especially those that I liked). But I missed some groups even after I started watching.

But it was definitely a nice watch and I really liked the people participating. It was peaceful and nice! There weren't so many cosplayers with awesomely detailed costumes as you'd think, but it was nice!

It's been kinda a long time since this live, but I wrote about it, even if it's only a part, so maybe someone will want to know what this was about some time in the future so it's not a bad thing to just upload it, to be here.
